Puya and Iraida join forces and release “Stop the Planet”, a musical protest for all those who have forgotten to truly live life and let themselves be driven by superficial things.
“Stop the Planet” was written by IRAIDA and Puya, with help from Achi on the music and production side. The song is released together with a video directed by Ioana M. Stan.
Puya has been active on the hip-hop scene since 1995. The first album, “Băieți de cartier”, was released together with La Familia in 1997. He started his solo career in 2000 with the album “Pănă la cănă în filăr meu”. Albums such as “Foame de bani” (released with Sișu), “Music of loitering and depravity”, “Romanisme 1” and “Romanisme 2” followed. His latest album is titled “Aventurile Domnului Puy(a)” and was released in December 2019.
Iraida is a singer and songwriter. He has written songs for artists such as Banx & Ranx, Rêve, INNA, Alexandra Stan, Sak Noel, Elvana Gjata, SICKOTOY, Manuel Riva, Roxen, Karmen, Olivia Addams, Gromee, Antonia and many others. The collaboration with Manuel Riva, “Modern Love”, quickly climbed the charts, reaching #1 in the Shazam Top 200 in Bulgaria and Romania, plus many other charts in different countries. This year he had the opportunity to collaborate with the Polish DJ Gromee, with whom he released the song “Don’t Stop The Party”.
