Adi Istrate is a 22-year-old Romanian singer-songwriter and actor. He is attending the British and Irish Institute of Modern Music in London – Songwriting and Vocals. He discovered his passion for music from an early age and the first instrument that he learned to play was drums.
Over the years he learnt to play 4 instruments such as guitar, marimba, bass-guitar and piano. In 2015, he engaged in the X Factor competition and right after this experience he was offered the opportunity to be part of one of the most famous boy bands in Romania (MAXIM).
This is where his music career has officially started and where he felt how to be a ‘star’. For three years he had 350 concerts all around the country, over 31 million views on YouTube and also 3 songs in Top 30. Some of the most important events in his career have been the Media Music Awards (2 nominations) and Eurovision (4th place).
In 2016 he had the honour to share the stage with James Arthur and Willy William which was very exciting. At present he is focusing on his solo career and he is working with a lot of important artists in Romania. He is working on new projects which are very versatile, focusing on Pop, Dance and Pop-Rock.

The project was born in Timisoara (2011) after released on YT tracks and remixes under the pseudonym . 4 years later he joined forces with his long-time friend Tinu Vidaicu. Together they took the project to another level dedicating time and passion for creating in the next 5 years over 30 remixes, with a huge success in the club/DJ scene.
Through his own club (Epic Society) Tinu promoted house/dance music playing the emblematic Dirty Nano sound. Alongside John Trend and JayKo they hosted the most high energy parties in Romania and formed Maestros Del Ritmo. The special connection between Dirty Nano and is the reason for famous remixes like over 1M views on YT, then over 11M views on YT, 10M for and 6M on They also release unofficial remixes for Ed Sheeran, Coldplay, and Chainsmokers The first official single feat. (2019) shortly becomes a radio sensation and counts over 8M views on YT.
The online celebrity makes Dirty Nano to be present on the radio and in premium clubs from Romania, continuing to develop and build a strong community around them.
